A few of us are doing long distance events in April (marathons and 3 Peaks) so I am wondering if there is interest in some 16 to 22 mile Sunday runs?

There are plenty of bail-out points along the way, e.g. at 6 and 13 miles (instead of returning up Knowl Hill head back down to Norden). 

 Route:  

This will take about 3hr 40 min.   Recommend trail shoes or low-soled running shoes. Unsuitable for fell shoes (too much road).   Under foot its about 8 miles tarmac, 3 miles moor land, 9 miles paths/trails. 

The route is:

Kit: 

Carry Full Body cover for safety, fluids for 4 hours, carbs (jelly babies, gels, banana or whatever).  Shoes: Low profile road or trail (not fell shoes due to long road sections).  

Pace:

Easy fat burning pace: averaging 11 min/mile (slower uphill faster down)
